Culinary Program Associate
Elizabeth grew up in Minnesota and attended AGAPE high school in St Paul. Prior to working at NATIFS, Elizabeth worked at Vomela as a Zund Operator. She works on the Culinary Team in the Indigenous Food Lab and enjoys feeling connected to her coworkers like family. Elizabeth finds Indigenous food systems as different and interesting, “…you get to understand more about Indigenous people through the food, see their way of seeing life.”
A mother of two, Elizabeth likes to spend time with her son and daughter, asking them about their days and simply being with them. They have a dog named Coqueta, a cat named Simba, and a bunny named Flor.
